go from stalled to published

get my top eight tips for boosting writing momentum

my unique approach

A self-identified perfectionist, overachiever, and all-around anxious person, I’ve spent years learning how to find the source of my writing blocks, work through them, and eventually overcome them in order to reach my publication dreams.

I now use what I’ve learned in my writing journey to help writers like you achieve creative breakthrough, step into your writing identity, and embrace writing success.

My coaching style blends traditional writing education with mindset training, philosophical reframing, and trauma-informed therapeutic techniques (along with my many self-developed practical tools for writers).

  • mindset expertise

I bring years of experience and education around mindset transformation to my work.

In my sessions, clients can expect to explore deeper mindset shifts through meditation exercises, visualization techniques, and philosophical reframing.

  • craft knowledge

As a workshop teacher for 10+ years, I’ve developed an extensive library of lesson plans, exercises, and prompts on a variety of craft topics.

This library makes it easy for me to incorporate deep, thoughtful learning experiences into each coaching session in response to your specific needs.

  • publishing savvy

Over the years, I’ve done it all: lit mag submissions, residency applications, querying agents, and going out on submission to publishing houses.

I offer insightful publication guidance that ranges from practical submission strategies to psychological support around the vulnerability that comes from risking rejection.

  • trauma-informed guidance

Our writing blocks are often deeply tied to emotional blocks, and what we write about is frequently tied to past trauma.

Knowing this, I’ve sought out significant education and training around dealing with trauma, and my coaching sessions provide an exceptionally safe and supportive space for writers exploring sensitive topics.

want to begin your writing transformation?

I can show you how.

I went from being a writer who was pretty creatively stuck to a writer who’s written three novels, published numerous short stories, and signed a two-book deal with a major publishing house.

It took me about ten years to make that transformation, but now, on the other side of that journey, I can guide you through the transformation process in just five months.

I do this through my one-of-a-kind coaching program, The Writer’s Transformation Project.
