the writer’s transformation project
five months to a completed writing dream and a transformed creative self
I know how painful it can feel to have a big writing dream but not feel able to reach it.
So I designed The Writer’s Transformation Project to provide writers with the accountability, motivation, feedback, mindset, and community connection they need to reach their lifelong writing dreams.
It’s the program I wish I’d had when I was starting out on my own journey to become a published writer.
In this five-month program, you’ll:
tune into your authentic voice
hone your craft
work through your creative blocks
confidently complete your writing projects
become the writer you’ve always wanted to be
what you receive
-
In our coaching sessions, I guide you through your craft and mindset challenges so you can make steady, insightful progress on your writing project.
Before each session, you can submit up to 15 double-spaced pages for my review.
-
In our three group seminars, you’ll learn and bond with the other writers in your cohort.
You’ll explore new writing approaches, get to know each other’s writing, and support one another through your writing successes and challenges.
-
During the program, your cohort will meet with a visiting author, who will share about their writing journey, answer your questions about the writing process, and provide insight into the path to publication.
-
Need support between coaching sessions? I’m available over email to help you troubleshoot challenges and questions that come up along the way.
-
At the program’s end, I host a celebratory graduation reading where each writer shares an excerpt of something they’ve written during the program with a room full of friends, family, and supporters.
The ceremony is hybrid, so Austin locals attend in person, while writers from further afield attend on Zoom.
when it happens
I offer The Writer’s Transformation Project twice a year.
One session runs from April–August, and one session runs from October–February.
The investment for The Writer’s Transformation Project is $8500, or $1760 per month if paying monthly.
Since the coaching program requires a significant investment, it’s best suited for writers who are ready to make a sustained commitment to their writing development over the next five months.
